Problems & disadvantages of the двс EDDB

Zetec engines offer reliable performance and fuel efficiency, however it is important to ensure only Medium/Plus gasoline is used. Spark plugs are known for having a short life-span of around 10 thousand km, while the high price of good quality petrol often causes pump breakdowns due to its poor content. Additionally care should be taken when checking the timing belt as valves in European versions can easily get bent or broken if not monitored properly. Furthermore special caution must be exercised regarding aluminum underpan located close to ground level – any contact could cause serious damage!
