Chevrolet Corvette GT-55C
The latest addition to the twin-engine club is the all-new GT-55C supercar by Double Trouble Hot Rod. Unveiled at Hot August Nights and Monterey Car Week, this wild machine doesn’t just grab attention with its outrageous bodywork — it hides two Chevrolet Corvette engines mounted side by side behind the passenger seats.
In fact, the GT-55C is based on the fifth-generation Corvette — though it’s almost unrecognizable. The track is wider, the lights are different… and the specs are out of this world. The two 6.2-liter V8s produce over 1,300 horsepower combined. According to its creator, Gordon Tronson, the GT-55C should be capable of speeds over 450 km/h.
Will anyone be brave enough to find out?
